Books I used to read when I was a teen...
One of my favourites was Reunion (Reencuentro in Spanish), by Fred Uhlman. I strongly recommend it.
Outsiders (Rebeldes in Spanish), by Susan E. Hinton is a book I'll never forget. It was a present for my 15th birthday and I still have it!
The first book I read in only one day was Love Story, by Erich Segal. If you like love stories, you shouldn't miss this one! And make sure you have a box of Kleenex handy!

Hey, people, I'm Juanjo, the teacher, and I want to recommend "Oliver Twist". It was the first book I bought with my own money when I was eleve, and it is a bit sad, but depicts children life in poor London. Anyway, it's great, tender, hard and veeery touching!!
ReplyDeletehi, my favorite book is (the lovely bones) in spanish is (desde mi cielo) which is written by alice strems . it is a drama about an innocent girl of 14,who is captured and killed . I recommend this book because it is very exciting. it is so good that you are part of the plot. it is an absolutely fantastic book.
ReplyDeletehi! I won't recommend a book because I think everybody will do that so I'll talk about a magazine:
ReplyDeleteIt's called "Speak up" and it has a lot of news of different topics and it's usefull for people who are learning english (like us)
So I suggest that magazine beacuse it's a good way to learn english and it's not boring.
Hi! I would like to recommend "El niño que podía volar". It´s too short and childlike because I read it when I was ten years. It is the only book that I have read voluntarily
ReplyDeleteHi teacher :D
ReplyDeleteOther teachers are on the red LOL
Well, I want to suggest two books, they are both about the same topic, girls in a 'internado'
The first it's << Torres Malory >>. I recommend this book because my aunt gave me when i was 10 or 11 years old and I LOVE IT
The second, it's << Las gemelas en Santa Clara >>. This is about two spoiled twins, who doesn't like the 'internado' and finally, they don't want to go to the university.
Both books are more than one, so, if you want to see all of them, they are a book with all the adventures of Torres Malory, and the same with Santa Clara.
I hope you like :D
And...
Happy Christmas :D
Hi everyone! Well, if I had to recommend just one book, i'd probably say "El retrato de Carlota". My aunt gave it to me when I started at the high school and I really love it! I have read it many times because it is amusing and it's about love too... It is located in Venice and the main character is an spanish girl, so you can feel indentified with her.

Hi professor. First of all, happy new year.
ReplyDeleteI have read few books, if I had to recommend one would certainly "I have wanted to You " (Tengo ganas de ti) by Federico Moccia.
It is the second part of "Three meters above the sky. "(Tres metros sobre el cielo). It talks about love. The character falls in love with a person and is impossible to forget.
I recommend this book because love is something that we all come from one moment to another.

The authoress is the protagonist of history. In her all since from small she has been a slave and of several families, and account as pipe that to initiate the prostitution from few age forced by a gentleman, who was like his family. Then it explains since it was his fight to go out of this life and as to achieved, after a hard battle, to do an association for women and girls who have met submitted to the same life that she, but thanks to his achievement to could liberate to many girls and teenagers. It is a very nice book that shows us the reality.

Hohoho.
I forgot I had to write in English...
ReplyDeleteWell. I recommend you "Química Perfecta". Why? Because I know you'll like it. This book speaks about a teenager's love, about social class discrimination and problems and situations that happen to teenagers today. It's fun because it uses a vocabulary like ours and speak about real things.
You should read it, read is great!
Hi teacher I`m Alejandro Arias
ReplyDeleteI recommend you "No sin mi hija"
Why? Because this is very beautiful story
es de una señora que le secuestran a la hija y ella hace todo lo posible por rescatarla e intentan que la señora se valla del pais porque es muy persistente para recuperar su hija pero ella dice que no asta que recupere a su hija
Hi teacher, I recommend "Querido Nadie" because is an history very interesting about the early embarrassement. It's a sad history but learn the risks that can not take precautions.
ReplyDeleteHello teacher!!
ReplyDeleteI read some books and I liked all but I recommend "Dear Nobody" (Querido Nadie) by Berlie Doherty (Is about a pregnant teenager who wanted to go university but she couldn't because she had a son to care) and "Three meters above the sky" by Federico Moccia, both is about a teenagers so it is ideal for our age.
Bye :D
